Real growth, sustainable relationships
As an ICF-accredited certified coach specializing in friendships and other meaningful relationships, I will motivate you to reframe obstacles and take first steps in establishing valued connections, in turn investing in your own long-term well-being.
I support clients as they untangle the limiting beliefs and internal narratives that keep them feeling disconnected when:
■ finding and forming friendships and romantic relationships
■ navigating identity shifts
■ strengthening intergenerational relationships
■ repairing misunderstandings, mistakes, or deeper ruptures
Together, we’ll explore:
■ Your core values and unmet needs
■ Green flags, red flags, and patterns
■ Communication habits that build (or block) intimacy
■ Boundaries that create opportunities to thrive
■ The confidence to set and work toward goals
I’m especially passionate about partnering with introverts who want deeper connections without pretending to be someone they’re not.
In addition to relationship work, I also guide clients to investigate their career and volunteer aspirations encompassing topics such as:
■ job or educational transitions
■ goal setting, organization, and time management
■ volunteer, personal interests, or community engagement experiences
My Coaching Style
People describe my style as compassionate, humorous, thought-provoking, and inclusive. I balance moving in the direction accessible to my clients while also gently challenging them.
We are all humans, many of us hoping to be the next best version of ourselves. I understand the systemic barriers and inequities that stand in the way of traditional definitions of achievement and prefer to explore what your authentic characteristics of success look and feel like for you.
Let’s infuse some energy into your goals and growth and hold you accountable to your most fulfilling versions of your next chapter.
What I Believe About Coaching
There are many misconceptions about coaching. I had some of them myself before deepening my training and experience.
Here’s what guides my work:
Coaching is not advice-giving.
My role isn’t to tell you what to do. It’s to ask thoughtful questions, offer practical tools, and help you access your own clarity and forward momentum. While some clients are open to, or even prefer, to source fresh ideas from their coaches, sustainable change happens when insight comes from within.
Coaches are not superior to their clients.
I don’t position myself as the authority on what makes a “successful” life. Success is subjective. It evolves and must be defined by you.
Coaching is not therapy.
We may explore context to support your goals, but I do not diagnose, treat, or process mental health conditions. If therapeutic support would better serve you, I will say so. Coaching is future-focused and action-oriented.
Training and growth matter.
I believe coaches should be properly trained and committed to ongoing learning. While lived experience, adjacent career experience, and relevant skills are valuable, continued education ensures coaches show up ethically and effectively.

Kind Words
“Caryn brings expertise that blends the social sciences, communication and leadership skills, and psychology. She helped me survive a difficult environment through supporting me with further developing key communication skills. She delivers value on session 1, establishing a friendly and welcoming environment through active listening, showing compassion and empathy, and providing unique feedback and strategies. It is noteworthy to highlight as well, that Caryn embodies the values and vision of Found, as she was born to catalyze deep and genuine social connections.”
“Anyone would be lucky to be coached by Caryn. Her enthusiasm and presence make for a truly safe container to explore. Her humor helps lighten up challenging topics. Her wisdom and perspective provides new ways to think about places I’m stuck. I know that when I am connecting with her, I will grow and become a better me. ”
“Caryn is a thoughtful and intuitive coach. She helped me gain clarity and a new perspective on my relationship with my 20-year-old son, and gave me tools to strengthen our intergenerational connection. We explored trust, letting go (and how that’s not the same as giving up), and the difference between my own childhood fears and the fears I carry as a mother. I’m truly grateful for her guidance in helping me make these connections myself; that’s the beauty and strength of coaching.”
“As a coach myself, I pay close attention to presence—and Caryn brings a grounded, attentive presence that immediately creates trust. Even in a single session, she asked thoughtful questions that helped me access my own wisdom and see something that had been just out of view. I left with clarity and a meaningful next step forward.

“Caryn has been a truly remarkable influence on my personal and professional growth for such a short period of time together. As a nonprofit executive director who has been weighed down by stress and survival, I have reclaimed so much of my time thanks to Caryn’s guidance. She took the time to get to know me and my nonprofit, which allowed her to really dig into the specifics of our organization. Our sessions have helped me better manage everything from simple email organization to overcoming obstacles affecting my productivity and confidence as a nonprofit director. Caryn’s empathy and experience (especially through the lens of nonprofit work) enabled a personalized approach to my issues and made our sessions both conversational and goal-oriented. I highly recommend working with this wonderful human who has made such a positive impact on my organization and me.”
